Have you ever heard the phrase, “you are what you eat?” To achieve beautiful / healthy glowing skin, one must begin on the inside before one can expect to see results on the outside.
Fact; skin is the largest organ of the human body. Eating poor foods and having an overall poor diet can lead to breakouts, blemishes and rashes. In my line of work (though I am not a nutritionist) I always ask my clients with acne what their daily diet looks like. When they answer, many times I am not surprised to hear that their diet is poor.
Certain foods cause major internal and external damage to the body, like sugar, and yet the average person consume roughly 2-3 pounds of sugar per week….that’s 135 pounds a year! GROSS. Excessive sugar intake causes tooth decay and has been linked to increased risks of obesity, inflammation and chronic diseases. PEOPLE, if you don’t think that sugar doesn’t affect your skin health I would urge you to do your own research! Know your body inside and out and start looking at ingredients and foods that are negatively affecting your health both internally and externally.
Skin is the total reflection of your total body health, so it’s time you take your skin health serious by starting with your inside health.
